Remember Your First Ride

December 31, 2018

Do you remember the first time you rode a motorcycle? The adrenalin rush. The feeling of freedom. The pride of accomplishment. The sense of feeling like there were no limits you couldn't exceed (including the speed limit, though you were told time and again to not).

For those of us who ride, these precious memories of riding for the first time and then throughout your young life are landmark memories that have led you to the person you are today. Without that bike, who would you be today? We shudder at the thought.

The sad thing is, this new generation is not enjoying the same opportunities at their parents did. Kids today simply aren't soaking in that magical moment that we all have in our past of riding a motorcycle for the first time. They don't get it. That's sad. Really sad.

For those who don't ride, if you're reading this, you probably don't understand what the big deal is. Basically, you haven't lived until you've rode.

Why not come into Central Florida PowerSports and let us know that you'd like to be introduced to our world? We'll hook you up... and bring your kids! Parents, don't let your children miss out on what helped define who you are today. Teach them to ride. They will thank you when they grow up.
