What do Motorcycles & Spyders have to do with Thanksgiving?
Being Thankful here at Central Florida PowerSports (CFPS)? First of all, where can you work where you are surrounded by equipment that moves so fast that you have to have lessons to control the speeds? Me, as a woman surrounded by traditionally men's toys (and they don't ever quit playing with their toys). I have to stay on top of my game. So I'm so thankful that I have the best mentors available for help when riding on the road as well as off-road. And yes I love the dirt as well and riding my FZ-07 on the street.
If I am not riding my Honda big wheel CRF125 at Croom or Hard Rock Cycle Park or Durhamtown, I'm just riding my minis like the Honda CRF 50 or CRF70 around the yard. See, at home, I'm so grateful to be able to manage several bikes and believe me it's a chore that delights my heart.
So you're asking yourself, what's that got to do with being thankful here at CFPS? Well, it's the brilliant staff that comes to work every day willing to take their time to assist each and every customer. It's guiding these customers who also enjoy the thrill of speed and with speed comes great responsibilities. Most Saturdays we have a specialist (Thank you Greg Iwanski) who is available to our customers for coaching and educating customers on how to receive their motorcycle endorsement "OOSI" Orange Osceola Safety Institute (www.OOSI.org)
We are thankful for the "Demo Days" with Yamaha, BRP Can-Am, and KTM. Just in the past three months, these manufactures visited our store to host demo rides. This is a great opportunity for customers to test ride the newest prospective vehicles before purchasing and where can you do that these days? Our staff gets to ride the demos too!
That's how I, at 5 foot 2 was able to find the bike that fits me, obtain my endorsement and have the guidance necessary to be an efficient safe rider. Thankful :)
