The 2027 Husqvarna FC 450 Factory Edition is Husqvarna's highest-specification production motocross bike, built in limited numbers. The extensively updated 450 cc SOHC engine was developed to make its power easier to use, with stronger low-rpm torque and a smooth, predictable delivery over long motos. It shares the new-generation chassis and WP XACT closed-cartridge spring fork with the FC 250 Factory Edition.
What's new for 2027
- Updated 450 cc SOHC engine: new cylinder head, revised cam timing and 14.0:1 compression for strong low-rpm torque
- All-new exhaust with three resonator chambers in the header and a new silencer, built for the latest 109 dB FIM noise limit
- Proven 44 mm Keihin throttle body with the injector repositioned further upstream (top-feed) in a redesigned airbox
- Latest Engine Management System with knock control and gear-dependent mapping
- Re-engineered frame about 500 g lighter, new 1.23 kg aluminum subframe and die-cast aluminum swingarm
- 48 mm WP XACT closed-cartridge spring fork, chosen over air forks after back-to-back testing, plus revised WP XACT rear shock; hand-adjustable compression and rebound
- Narrower, completely redesigned bodywork
- Map Select Switch with two maps, Traction Control, Launch Control and Quickshifter
- Brembo brakes with updated rear pads and a rear brake lever tip adjustable 5 mm
