A new generation of motocross starts with the Factory Editions

For 2027, both KTM and Husqvarna launch their next-generation motocross platform with the Factory Edition models first. Developed alongside the factory race teams, they bring new frames, new WP XACT closed-cartridge suspension, updated engines and electronics, and a long list of factory parts straight off the showroom floor.

Both SX-F Factory Editions are developed with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and arrive with:

An all-new, lighter frame with new geometry, steering head and engine mounting points
The lightest aluminum subframe KTM has built, with a wheelbase that can be lengthened
Fully revised WP XACT closed-cartridge spring fork (48 mm) and WP XACT shock
CNC-machined WP PRO COMPONENTS triple clamps and WP start device
A slimmer profile with more leg contact area, a new seat and new footpeg surfaces
A lighter, more robust gearbox, a new ECU with gear-dependent mapping and an improved Quickshifter
New exhaust, redesigned airbox and optimized cooling

450 SX-F Factory Edition: a boosted 449.9 cc engine with power peaking at 10,000 rpm, a 44 mm Keihin throttle body and a DDS clutch with Brembo hydraulics. 250 SX-F Factory Edition: the biggest engine change in the lineup, with oval throttle body and intake ports, top-feed injection, an all-new valve train, 15.5:1 compression and a 14,500 rpm rev limit.

2027 Husqvarna FC 250 and FC 450 Factory Edition

2027 Husqvarna FC 450 Factory Edition, available to reserve at Central Florida PowerSports in Kissimmee near Orlando

Husqvarna's highest-specification production motocross bikes are built in limited numbers and share a re-engineered chassis:

A re-engineered frame about 500 g lighter, a new 1.23 kg aluminum subframe and a die-cast aluminum swingarm
48 mm WP XACT closed-cartridge spring fork and revised WP XACT rear shock, with hand-adjustable compression and rebound
Narrower, completely redesigned bodywork
Map Select Switch with two maps, Traction Control, Launch Control and Quickshifter
Factory Racing parts: WP PRO COMPONENTS wheel set with Excel rims, CNC-machined triple clamps, factory start device, Rekluse outer clutch cover, GUTS seat cover, frame protection and skid plate

FC 450 Factory Edition: an updated 450 cc SOHC engine with a new cylinder head, revised cam timing and 14.0:1 compression for strong low-rpm torque, plus an all-new exhaust. FC 250 Factory Edition: an all-new DOHC engine with 15.5:1 compression and a 14,500 rpm limit, top-feed injection and a new engine management system with knock control.
